The goal of the Colorado State University Environmental Learning Center goal is to connect people to nature. Such connections contribute to a healthy and happy life, and positively influence one’s sense of stewardship of our environment. The experiences that create those meaningful connections occur every day of the year at the ELC.
There's another great outcome at the ELC that impacts the students and volunteers who work there during their time at CSU. They learn how to become successful conservation professionals, the ins and outs of working for a non-profit, and the importance and value of an innovative and fun work environment. For these individuals, their experience at the ELC is often a highlight of their time at CSU.
Why donate to the ELC? Because we believe they do great work for the community and for its employees. The people who started the giving circle can speak to that first-hand. We encourage you to support their efforts.

I'm not sure what "cause channel" this falls under, but I am going to write it anyway.
I will always remember the Environmental Learning Center as an inspiring place to teach and to learn. Some of my fondest teaching and learning memories happened at the Full Moon programs and other evening activities.
I will never forget Mathew, a three year old participant in the preschool program I taught at the Environmental Learning Center my senior year in college. “Are we going on an adventure today?” was his question each week when he came running down the gravel path ready to explore. The Environmental Learning Center was his place to be excited about learning and discovering the natural world.
