Provide a life changing wildlife experience and make the biggest difference for the animal which you help.
Description:
We provide compassionate care to sick, injured, and orphaned wild bird and small mammals for the purposes of release and education.
Programs and Projects:
EWRC presently maintains 15 outdoor enclosures for wildlife to exercise, once we know they are eating on their own and doing well enough to be moved outside for prerelease training. Enclosures vary in size to accommodate different sizes and species of birds and mammals. Cage furnishings are portable to be suited to an animal's needs and degree of disability. Physical therapy at EWRC is hands-off; we feel less handling benefits the wildlife.
Thanks to local area veterinarians who donate their time and services!
EWRC provides no surgical, radiological, or medical therapies on-site. The animals come to us after veterinary treatment
