About Your Donation

My Colorado offers a tremendous opportunity for Colorado nonprofits to build relationships with a new generation of community driven entry level donors. My Colorado is a project of Community Shares of Colorado.

You may have questions about your gift and we have made an effort throughout My Colorado to implement the best practices in disclosure and transparency surrounding your gift. Community Shares has an impeccable and established record regarding community giving and have been a part of the Colorado community since 1986. Each year we speak to over 150,000 employees as a part of our workplace giving program.

Refund Policy

Refunds on processed charitable donations will only be considered via written request to Community Shares of Colorado at 1536 Wynkoop Street, Suite 202, Denver, Colorado, 80202. Only those donations which haven't yet been distributed to designated nonprofits will be considered.

Cancellation Policy

All recurring pledges not yet processed can be cancelled at anytime using the controls in your personal profile page or by submitting a request directly to My Colorado program staff at admin@mycoloradoproject.org. You may also contact us through the methods listed on our Contact Page.

My Colorado is a project of Community Shares of Colorado - a local giving fund that specializes in inclusive and democratized philanthropy. We believe that every person should have a voice and a vote in bettering their community and what better way to vote than through philanthropy. Community Shares collects a 5% fee to cover transaction and distribution costs to each designated charity. All development and administrative expense is paid through Community Shares, grants, and paid sponsors, making My Colorado one of the most efficient methods of fundraising currently available in the nonprofit sector.
