My Colorado is a social networking website for young, entry-level philanthropists.
Those who frequent My Colorado do so to learn and share ideas about giving, connect with the individual donors and nonprofits that make up the community, and give back through the use of creative tools and individualized and strategic personal giving plans.

My Colorado engages tomorrow’s donors today by inspiring thoughtful community investment and leadership in Denver’s next generation of philanthropists.
Our Vision
Intended as a tool for young, cause-oriented individuals to interact with and donate to the nonprofit charities listed on the website, all donations made on My Colorado are sent in full to the designated nonprofit through Community Shares of Colorado - a community giving fund located in Denver. Community Shares of Colorado raises millions of dollars for Colorado based nonprofits through workplace giving and other initiatives. Workplace giving is considered by Charity Navigator and others to be the most efficient and cost-effective fundraising strategy currently available to charities.
Desiring to build upon these same ideals My Colorado was born out of the idea to offer nonprofits a cost effective online method to engage and establish relationships with young donors, and for young, entry-level donors to partake in incremental giving strategies which make workplace giving so successful.
My Colorado believes that the next generation of philanthropists will have a unique and profound impact on our community. By harnessing the power of technology and social networking we hope to embrace the connected generation and build the education and awareness of the next great wave of philanthropists.
